I’ve dedicated more than 31 years of my life to serving and protecting communities across California, Texas, and Indiana — including nearly two decades as Chief of Police. Most recently, I’ve had the privilege of leading the Ossian Police Department and, since 2022, serving as Lancaster Township Trustee right here in Wells County. This community is home for my wife, Barbara, and me — and it’s where my heart for service runs deepest.

I believe leadership is about building something that lasts. My goal as Sheriff is to strengthen the Wells County Sheriff’s Department for the next generation — developing future leaders, supporting our deputies, and ensuring that justice is applied equally to all. Guided by my faith and a lifelong commitment to integrity, I’m ready to lead with purpose and to keep Wells County safe for years to come.
